An Unexpected Break

Shavua tov, everyone.

Sorry for the long break. We were travelling a lot and without computer for several days. We've been to the Dead Sea, a huge Sephardi wedding in Haifa, a Masada snake path climb, and a Shabbat Chattan yesterday at a hotel in Ein Bokek, all of which we hope to write about once we are back in our apartment and on the Internet. Suffice it to say that the arrival of Shabbat while we were staying in a hostel at the foot of Masada was yet another extraordinary experience. We wish you all, belatedly, a great Canada Day weekend and, for our U.S. family and friends, a beautiful Fourth of July!

Rabbi Larry (and Rebbetzin 'Relle and Keithen)

P.S. I haven't forgotten I was going to tell you about praying with mallet and wedge (neither of which refers to a type of golf club).
